HANS DECONINCK
Is in Izegem( B) geboren, in 1960. Sedert zijn kindertijd is Hans gefascineerd door karikaturen. Al van kleinsaf eigenlijk tekent hij karikaturen dag in dag uit. Tot grote wanhoop van zjin ouders die dit niet anders zagen dan als een rariteit. Zij gaven hem dan ook de raad om zich met ernstige zaken bezig te houden, en iets anders te doen dan tekenen...Maar het komt nooit zover dat hij zijn favoriete dada opgeeft. Hij vindt het gewoon geweldig.
We kunnen dus, zonder overdrijven bevestigen dat hij eigenlijk al altijd tekent. Tot in 1999 tekent hij alleen maar als amateur, zonder echt doel. Tekenen om een techniek onder de knie te krijgen , zeg maar. Al zal dit alles later bijzonder goed van pas komen.
Dit verandert voorgoed als hij de combinatie ontdekt van een computer met een grafisch Wacom tekentablet . Sedert zijn eerste streep hiermee, ziet hij zijn passie enkel nog in omvang toenemen...
In 2000 doet Hans Deconinck mee aan een karikaturen wedstrijd op de site van Jan Op de Beeck. Hij wint die wedstrijd onmiddellijk ,hetgeen hem natuurlijk nog meer stimuleert om ermee door te gaan. Hij ziet zijn talent bevestigd in 2004, als hij een volgende wedstrijd wint op de site van de inmiddels betreurde Martin O’Laughlin. In 2008 wint hij een wedstrijd bij Denis Grand.Op vandaag houdt hij er wereldwijd een enorme hoeveelheid vriendschappen op na . In België zowel als in Frankrijk , Amerika, Argentinië, China, Portugal etc...
Hans Deconinck was ook Beta-tester voor PaintShop Pro 9, een van de meest bekende en populaire tekenprogramma’s ter wereld. Maar ook Ambient Design (Artrage) zocht hem aan om te Beta testen voor hun nieuwe programma “Artrage2" en nu "ArtRage3" .Er zitten zelfs op zijn verzoek enkele nieuwe functies in dit programma.
Ook het gerenommeerde Wacom Europe liet hem een nieuw type tablet testen.(Toen nog intuos3)
Hans Deconinck is dus goed en wel besmet door het karikatuurvirus, en lijkt niet echt van plan om er zich tegen te verzetten. In tegendeel ,hij koesteert het als zijn kind, en gaf het de naam "Hanzz"

Born in Izegem (B) in 1960. Hans is interested in caricatures ever since childhood. He was still a young boy when he was drawing day in day out, to great dispair of his parents, who rather liked him to do something more usefull...
But he never got round to giving up his favourite dada...He just loves it to bits...So we can safely say, he drawing all of his life. Just until the year 1999, he only draws and draws, without a real goal.Learning new techniques , which will come in handy later on...
This changes forever with his 'discovery' of the digital tablets from Wacom. Since his first stroke on the virtual canvas, his passion doubled to say the least.
In 2000, he participates in his first contest on the site of the fabulous Jan Op de Beeck. He won this one ! This was the signal that there might be something in drawing caricatures.
Strengthened by this succes he continues participating these contests, and wins in 2004 a contest on the site of the late Martin O'Laughlin. In 2008 he wins a contest at Denis Grand's.
Today he keeps contacts with colleagues all over the world, from Belgium to the USA, from Argentinia to China, and the places in between...
Hanzz was also a beta tester for Paint Shop Pro, one of the most popular graphical programs in the world.
But also Ambient Design (Artrage2 ,2.5 ,and 3) had him as a Beta Tester for their second version of this immensly popular painting program. On his advise, some new features devellopped in the minds of the programmers.
Also the manufacturor of the Wacom tablets contacted him for testing an Intuos3 tablet ,and he even wrote a tutorial for them.
One might say Hans Deconinck got caught by the "caricatures virus", and he does not seem willing to fight it. In fact he cherishes it like his own child, and named it "Hanzz"....

Mais il n' arrive pas á se passer de son dada favori. Il y trouve un tel plaisir . On peut donc affirmer, sans vraiment exagérer, qu' il dessin depuis toujours. Jusqu'au 1999 il dessine toutefois en pur amateur, sans but précis.
Cela change cette année-lá, lorsqu' il découvre la combinaison de l'ordinateur et de la tabiette a dessin WACOM. Dès son premier dessin á l'aide de ce procédé-la, il voit sa passion redoubler.
En l'an 2000, Hans Deconinck participe pour la premiere fois á un concours sur le site de Jan Op de Beeck. Il gagne ce concours, ce qui stimule encore sa passion de la caricature.Il se sent confirmé dans ses capacités artistiques lorsqu' il remporte, en 2004,le prix dans le concours du regrettéMartin O'Laughlin.
Aujourd'hui, Hans Deconinck entretient des liens d'amitié avec un nombre considérabIe de caricaturistes à travers le monde, du Belgique aux Etats-Unis, de l'Argentine à Chine .
Hans Deconinck a aussi été testeur-Beta pour le PaintShop Pro 9, un des programmes de dessin les plus populaires au monde
Mais Artrage l'a aussi engagé pour tester leur nouveau programme: "Artrage2" et maintenant "ArtRage3" , ainsi que le renommé Wacom Europe, pour un nouveau type de tablette a dessin (intuos 3)
Hans Deconinck est donc bel et bien contaminé par le virus de la caricature et n'est pas prêt d'en guérir. Au contraire, il chérit ce virus comme son propre enfant et lui a donné le nom "Hanzz"
